In 2014 I was lucky enough to be asked to shoot the NRL Grand Final between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the Canterbury Bulldogs.
On the way back home that night, on a boat, I decided to be a little silly with my camera. After all, the serious shooting was over. I decided to shoot night shots with a hand held camera, knowing that was ridiculous at such slow shutter speeds, I just wanted to have fun and see if I could capture something a little different that looked cool.
Being honest, I am quite happy with these three shots. Some people certainly won't like them as they break all the rules of night/slow shutter photography.
Do I care? No, not really. Photography is art, art should be original, art should be fun.
Fun I had.
